Unrealistic

This piece portrays the way social media controls people. The hand comes out of the phone and digs into the man's head and is meant to expose the pain we experience through comparing ourselves to each other on social media.

Mirror Perception

Everyone is hard on themselves, sometimes so much that they believe their own ridicule. This unhealthy habit of looking down on ourselves can lead to depression and social anxiety. The piece serves as a representation of dysmorphic perceptions by showcasing an unrealistically ugly reflection of the figure in the foreground.
